Whole house Remodel
Back Story: My clients recently became empty nesters and wished to downsize to a smaller house. With the kids gone all that space was no longer necessary. Their search for a new home led them to an established blue collar neighborhood in Oak Creek, WI., where they found a typical 1960’s 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath ranch home that had huge potential.
Design: Bring this house into the 21st century with an open concept, master bedroom suite, and home office. The new design embraced the open concept. A new vaulted space was designed to span both the new Family Room and Dining Room. The New Kitchen was placed at the center of the new floor plan and now serves as the social hub for family life and entertaining.
This 1960’s ranch home was completely remodeled from top to bottom. To say the least, it was simply an astonishing transformation. We removed walls, added a vaulted ceiling, increased the presents of natural light and made this house into a new home again.
